I hope you all had a wonderful festive time! with plenty of laughter and happiness.
I’m reallly looking forward to sharing more of the islands best, popping to more bridal shows (details will be shared as and when) and of course more inspiration!!
So to kick of with the first inpsiration post, i’m once again going for fresh!!!
A new year, a new chapter!
Colour palette: Light tones, yellow, pink and bright greens create a newness.
Something about lace make me feel refreshed, its light and shows you off but keeps you nicelt covered up, so on a dress if you’re not quite feeling the bare shoulders and arms, a sleeved dress might be something you’d look into, it’s still classy and feminine.
Love the soft lavender courts, which I believe is going to been seen a lot again works with the dress, it’s not to crass to put two different fabrics together, I think its complementary.
For the decoration, something bright but not to bold works, something about seeing items softly sway brings a calmness, for me seeing ribbons gently flutter is rhythmic. I’m not normally one for flowers everywhere but in this case i think tables full of white, pinks, peaches and yellow colours and plenty of scented (not to over powering mind) again will bring that sunshine vibe which given the month i feel would be a perfect sight/scent for eyes/noses.
As its January and the weather really isn’t being on its best behaviour i have mention again the wonderful creation of Karen Robbs of Dornellie and her Rainaway Bridal cover
